According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Marysville Division of Police recovered marijuana from a residence on Milcrest Drive Monday at 3 p.m.
Marysville Division of Police responded to a report of minors sending sexually oriented text messages Monday at 4:28 p.m.
A resident of Marysville reported a rape Monday at 4:23 p.m. An investigation is underway. Deputy Chief Tony Brooks said the victim and suspect know each other.
A business on Delaware Avenue reported theft of a camera Monday at 5:01 p.m.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy went to the intersection of Route 31 and Yearsley Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 GMC Sierra that struck a deer Monday at 4:54 a.m.
A deputy went to a residence in the 21000 block of Boord Road to investigate a report of identity theft involving the unauthorized use someone’s name to obtain an absentee voting ballet Monday at 9:25 a.m.
Deputies went to the intersection of Claibourne Road and Gandy Eddy Road to investigate a report of a crane stuck on a guardrail Monday at 9:53 a.m. The crane was removed from the guardrail with only minor damage done. The engineer’s office was notified.
Deputies went to a residence in the 22000 block of Raymond Road to investigate the theft of jewelry Monday at 10:40 a.m.
A deputy assisted units from the Pleasant Valley Fire Department with a combine fire that occurred in the 15000 block of Middleburg Plain City Road Monday at 1:48 p.m.
Deputies went to a business in the 10000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a report of a verbal dispute between two male subjects Monday at 9:11 p.m. No report was taken. During the investigation it was discovered that one of the males had an arrest warrant. James Patrick Baldwin, 50, of Marysville, was arrested and transported to Tri-County Regional jail.
Deputies went to a business in 11000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate a possible burglary in progress Monday at 8:10 p.m. Nothing was reported missing.
