Village employees installed a new rope at the beach area in Richwood Lake last week. The 200-foot long rope, which cost the village nearly $450, helps define the designated swimming area at the lake. Currently, the depth of the swimming area is approximately five feet deep. Swimmers are reminded that they are swimming at their own risk and are to obey lake and swimming safety guidelines while at the lake.

Richwood Village Council members heard Monday night that the new cruiser has been ordered through Bob Chapman Ford in Marysville and the vehicle is expected to be delivered sometime in September.
