Boyd was born in Marysville in 1932, graduated from Marysville High School in 1950, and lived the greater part of his life here.
It’s strange how some people can grow old, yet they never seem to lose that indefinable quality that makes a kid a kid. Elwood Sawyer was that kind of man.
