The first frost of the season descended on Union County Wednesday night, covering local vegetation with a crystalline shell, including the flower shown above at Schwartzkopf Park. The National Weather Service had the temperature in central Ohio at 31 degrees this morning, though today’s high is estimated to reach 55 degrees.
