According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, a black 2001 Chevrolet Trailblazer, with an unknown driver, drove over a snow patch and drifted out of control off of Watkins-California Road at around 2:15 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle drove into a ditch and rolled over into a field outside of the intersection of Derio and Watkins-California roads and at least one person was ejected from the vehicle. Two people were then transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital for injuries. Units from the sheriff’s office, Jerome Township Fire Department and Concord Township Fire Department were at the scene.
