Anna E. “Annie” James, 69, of Marysville, died Monday, June 5, 2017, at the Kobacher House.
She was a past member of the Jerome United Methodist Church and past member of the Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge #132. She retired as a school bus driver for Dublin City Schools in 2011.
She was born Oct. 31, 1947, in Jerome. She was preceeded in death by her parents, John and Maude (Hill) Shoemaker, and a son, Joseph “Hug” James.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Patrick James, whom she married on Nov. 25, 1968; sons, John, Charles (Malinda) and Christopher; numerous grandchildren; and a brother, John Charles (Carol) Shoemaker.
A gathering will be held from 5-7 p.m., Monday, at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Plain City, where a memorial service will begin at 7 p.m.
