Mary “Eileen” Fowler Caulin, 85, of Marysville, formerly of Madison, Connecticut, died Sunday, July 23, 2017, at home with her devoted family surrounding her.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and cherished spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a strong and feisty woman with a sharp wit and a wonderful sense of humor that brought tears of laughter with her storytelling.
She was a very attractive woman with an eye for fashion and a great sense of style. Although she did not have formal training, her flair for interior design had many seeking out her advice throughout her life.
She was born on Jan. 9, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Nicholas and Alice Feuer Fowler. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Caulin.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, William Peter Caulin, whom she married on June 2, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York; children, Teresa (Walter) Glaser of Marysville and William (Laurie) Caulin of New Hope, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kelly (Sean) O’Connell, William N. Caulin and Brian (Aleah) Caulin; great-grandchildren, Caiden, Declan, Finnegan and Brogan; siblings, Phyllis (Raymond) Garrigan, Gloria O’Donnell, Charles (Karen) Fowler, Jeanette Pellei and Alice (Francis) Gavin; brothers-in-law, Michael Caulin and Harry Conklin; sister-in-law, Eileen Caulin; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family will hold private services. Underwood Funeral Home in Marysville is assisting the family. It is requested memorial contributions be made to Union County Loving Care Hospice, 779 London Ave., Marysville, OH 43040.
