Patricia A. “Patty” Brown, 75, of Marysville, died Friday, July 7, 2017, at her residence with her family by her side.
Throughout her life, she worked for the Ohio Reformatory for Women as a guard, Memorial Hospital of Union County as a nurse’s aide and a waitress at the Dinner Bell Restaurant and the Midtown Bar. Later on, she retired from Eljer Plumbing.
She was a member of Community & Seasoned Citizens and VFW Post 3320. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her flower beds and, most of all, enjoyed spending time with her husband and family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was born on Dec. 8, 1941, in Dublin, to the late Elton L. and Elaine L. (Taynor) Webb. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry L. Brown, whom she married Dec. 19, 1987, and who died Feb. 26, 2015.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicky L. (Charles) Morris of Milford Center; grandchildren, Starla (Zach) Alexander and Derek McWilliams; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Gage, Delani, Braeleigh, McKenna and Alexa; brother, Elton L. (Sharon) Webb Jr., Sandra K. (Ken) Braden and Terri L. Jones, all of Marysville; niece, Kimberly (Kreakbaum) Moran; nephews, Ty Webb and Jarrod Jones; great-nieces, Carlie and Kayly Moran; sisters-in-law, Sally (Gene) Orahood and Vicki Spain; aunt, Ann Webb; uncle, Bill Webb; numerous other extended family and cousins; close friends, Temple Brown and Rita Taylor; and her Facebook family.
No calling hours or services will be held at this time and burial will take place at a later date in the Oakdale Cemetery next to her husband. Arrangements are being handled by Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel.
