Zebadiah Austin Jackson “Zeb” Carl, 32, of Raymond, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at his home following a short illness.
He was a person with a kind soul who loved his family and friends. He especially enjoyed the customers he knew as friends through working at McAuliffe’s Hardware. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, shooting and learning. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association and a proud supporter of the Second Amendment. An avid and loyal sports fan, he enjoyed the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds, the Ohio State University Buckeyes and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
He graduated from Marysville High School in 2003, where he was an officer in FFA and received his state FFA degree. He continued his education and received an Associate’s degree from Columbus State University in computer programming.
He was born on July 26, 1985, in Columbus, to John T. and Sue Johnson Carl. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his siblings, John Christian Torbert (Stacy) Carl, Ezekial Caleb Carl, Jarisah Ailene (James) Reynolds and Karisah Emma (Sean) Patrick; niece, Anna Carl; special grandmother, Ailene Fowler; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The Rev. Jim Davis will officiate funeral services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ingram Funeral Home, where calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Burial will follow at the Forest Grove Cemetery in Plain City.
