The Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated an injury crash that closed a portion of Route 739 and sent a person to the hospital with minor injuries. A Freightliner semi driven by Dorrian Shaw, 30, of Canada, veered off the right side of the road. Shaw overcorrected and turned over before sliding off the right side of the road, hitting a utility pole and coming to a rest.
A hazardous material began leaking, but OSP has no information on what that material is or if it had been cleaned up. As of 5:40 this morning, a Nixle alert lists the roadway as still being closed. More information can be found in a future edition of the Journal-Tribune.
