There were 11 teams invited to the Players Club at Foxfire Golf Course to compete in the Teays Valley Invitational on Monday.
The Pioneers of Jonathan Alder were among the teams to tackle the course. After 18 holes of play, Alder took second place with a score of 346.
Only Grove City could top JA with a 332 team score. The remaining teams invited to the event scored as follows: third, Fairfield Union-355; fourth, Circleville-380; fifth, Teays Valley-384; sixth, Bexley-385, seventh, Logan Elm-386; eighth, Delaware Hayes-390; ninth, Madison Plains-401; tenth, Zane Trace-408; and 11th, Westfall-428.
Hayden Mitchell led the Pioneers with an 82. Zach Otto carded an 85. Mychal McKelvey turned in an 86, while Tyler Hilbert rounded out the team with a 93.
