The Lady Monarch varsity volleyball squad completed a grueling, three-match week with Thursday’s 25-22, 25-13, 25-19 triumph at Central Crossing.
Kaylee Rich led the Monarchs (6-10) with 18 serving points and Lily Keber added 17.
Keber and Sara Berkland topped the Lady Monarchs with seven kills each on the night.
The Lady Monarchs will enter into another week of battle against state-ranked Dublin Coffman (away) on Tuesday and will host Senior Night against Upper Arlington on Wednesday.

Jonathan Alder improved to 9-0 in the Central Buckeye Conference with a 21-25, 25-19, 27-25, 14-25, 17-15 victory at Kenton Ridge.
The Cougars suffered their second loss to the Lady Pioneers this season.
“Hunter Kaltenbach played a great defensive game and had some crucial serves when we needed them,” said coach Kim Hayes.
Kaltenbach finished with 13 serves and one ace. She also tallied nine digs.
Sara Dickey led the team with 21 digs.
“Our hitters had to adjust to their blocking, which was really good,” said Hayes.
Corrine Parker led with 12 kills.
Bunsold spikers sweep
Marysville’s seventh and eighth grade spikers swept Upper Arlington Jones.
The seventh grade won 25-10, 25-6.
Alivia Codner led the Monarchs with seven aces.
Bella Fox, Rylee Dundon and Morgan Shick were the leading passers. Shick and Aubrey Jarvi took control at the net and Dundon contributed with set assists.
The seventh grade notched a 25-12, 25-16 verdict.
Brianna Bailey was the leading server with eight aces.
Peyton Ingle and Madison Fluharty both contributed with seven aces.
Ingle and Allie Anderson led with the highest digs. Jillian Gardner, Ingle and Chloe Koren controlled the net, each with seven attacks.
Fluharty was the leading setter.
St. John’s triumphs
The St. John’s volleyball squad upped its record to 7-2 with a 25-22, 26-24 victory over Genoa Christian Academy.
Olivia Vollrath served 19 points and Allie Boyd added four.
