The 2017 season will continue for a pair of Marysville High School girls golfers.
Katie Bischoff shot an 82 and Maddie Powers carded an 83 to qualify for the Division I district tournament.
Their scores came on Tuesday during the sectional tournament that was held at Mental Memorial in Galloway.
The Lady Monarchs placed fifth as a team with a score of 369.
Olivia Virts shot a 101 for MHS, followed by Olivia Ishmael-105 and Faith Engle-103.
Dublin Jerome (314), Gahanna-Lincoln (339) and Dublin Coffman (346) advanced to the district.
Bischoff and Powers will play in the district on Tuesday at Cook’s Creek in South Bloomfield.
The Fairbanks girls will not be advancing to the Division II state tournament for a third consecutive year.
The Lady Panthers placed second in the district tournament earlier this week at Darby Creek.
Newark Catholic won the district title with a score of 346. Only one team advanced to the state from the D-II district tournament.
Fairbanks finished as the district runner-up with a score of 374.
FHS will not be represented by any individuals.
Emily Wilson was fifth with a score of 83.
Natalie Parker was eighth with an 88 and Audrey Brackenridge was ninth with a 90.
Other Panther scores were Allison Kise-113 and Rachel Studenmund-116.
