Marysville’s boys varsity soccer team upped its record to 2-0 on Saturday with a 3-0 victory over Bellefontaine.
Matt Walters assisted on goals by Zach Rausch and Max Brennan.
Luke Kudart also tallied a goal on an assist by Drew Levy.
Mason Taylor finished with five saves in the net for the Monarchs.

The Fairbanks girls soccer squad opened its season with a 5-3 Ohio Heritage Conference triumph over West Jefferson.
Emma Cook had four goals on the day and Sami Adkins added one.
Molly Olson was credited with three assists and Sarah Young tallied one.
Macy Wanamaker had eight saves.
The Lady Panthers outshot the Roughriders, 47-1.
Game ends in tie
The Lady Monarchs opened their 2017 soccer campaign with a 2-2 tie against Columbus Bishop Watterson.
The Lady Monarchs held a 1-0 lead at halftime when Sarah O’Neill scored on a cross-corner kick by Hope Powers.
Kinzi Lee turned away three shots during the first 40 minutes.
A lightning delay extended the halftime break to 96 minutes.
Watterson tallied two goals early in the second half once play resumed.
The Lady Monarchs tied the game on Madison Shumway’s penalty kick.
Anna Weigand tallied three saves for MHS in the second half.
The MHS jayees won their game, 4-2, on goals by Ashlee Fishbaugh, Kindall Duke and Emily Daniel.
Morgan Roby was Marysville’s keeper.
Panthers fall
Fairbanks’ boys soccer team dropped a 2-1 verdict to West Jefferson.
The lone Panther goal came from Brendan Baker.
