Marysville’s varsity girls tennis team closed out the Ohio Capital Conference Central Division portion of its schedule on Tuesday.
The Lady Monarchs posted a 5-0 victory over Central Crossing. MHS finished with a 3-2 conference mark, which was good for third place.
Seniors Anne Grimm, Lydia Romine, Kylie Wells, Julia Shade and Ea Brunn played in their final home matches.
Singles
-Grimm defeated E. Pauquette 6-0, 6-0;
-Grace Larruiz beat E. Bachman 6-0, 6-1;
-Lauren Markert downed A. Smetanko 6-1, 6-2.
Doubles
-Wells/ Romine defeated A. Smith/ D. Moskalyak 6-3, 6-1;
-Shade/ Caroline Geraghty beat M. Walker/ A. Doudna 6-2, 6-2.

The Bunsold Middle School netters (6-4) finished the season with a 3-2 loss to Big Walnut.

-Reagan Eschbach/Alyssa Scott lost 4-6.
“It was a tough loss, but a fine job for the first full season,” said coach John Merriman.
