The North Union boys and girls bowling teams cleaned house against Pleasant during a Mid Ohio Athletic Conference match at Marysville Lanes on Tuesday.
The Lady Cats claimed their victory by a score of 1814-1706, while the boys won 2208-2164.
Matt Quigley led the Wildcats with a 10-pin game score of 404. Riley Young put in a 388 performance. Connor Brandt turned in a score of 373. Blain Keckler and Grant Daum helped wrap up the win with respective baker scores of 337 and 318.
Katie Buckingham turned in the Lady Cats’ top performance with a 10-pin score of 323, while Allyia Nicol put up a score of 314. Alexis Jamison helped out with a score of 305. Kallie Price and Abby Anderson turned in baker scores of 295 and 154.
The junior varsity Wildcats also notched winning scores of 1378-1366, while the junior Lady Cats won 1471-1395. Connor Cox was the Wildcats’ top JV performer with a score of 304. The Lady Cats were led by Kierstan Diaz, who rolled a 286.
North Union will bowl at Jonathan Alder on Saturday.
FHS drops varsity matches
Fairbanks’ boys and girls varsity bowling teams dropped matches to Greenon on Tuesday.
The boys lost a 2514-2213 decision, while the girls fell 2160-1666.
Boys’ scores for the Panthers were Caeden Luke-388, Trevin Rausch-356, Andrew Nichols-351, Jacob Nichols-317 and Robert Hoffman-204.
Hunter Johnson led FHS’ girls with a 279, followed by Marisa Nicol-234, Sarah Young-220, Kierra Poland-219 and Makenzie Nichols-214.
The JV girls won 1493-1337.
Claire Ruff rolled a 251 for the jayvees, followed by Sophia Lytle-215, Kira Jones-210, Brianna Walters-180 and Sara Nicols-155.
The jayvee boys lost 1644-1444.
Joe Welch led the Jr. Panthers with a 279, followed by Grant Hamm-239, Peter LaPointe-209, Seth Whitehead-152 and Jacob Headings-124.
JVs triumph
Marysville’s junior varsity boys bowling team defeated London 1541-1351.
Xavier Mead led the Jr. Monarchs with a two-game total of 317.
