North Union’s varsity volleyball team scored a 3-1 verdict over Clear Fork on Saturday.
The Lady Cats won the first set 25-17 before the Colts came back to capture the second game, 25-20.
North Union won the final two sets by respective scores of 25-15, 25-17.
Freshman Journey Blevins had a huge day at the net, as she led the Lady Cats with 18 kills.
Lissie Michael contributed eight to the team’s total of 33 kills.
A number of players tied for serving point honors with four apiece.
They were Darian Thompson, Taylor Day, Blevins, Brycelyn Deickert, Kailyn O’Connors, Michael, Kallie Price, Mackenzie Grose and Josie Duncan.
Blevins also finished with five of the Lady Cats’ nine blocks.
Michael tallied 15 digs and Thompson finished with 12.
Duncan notched 19 assists on sets.
