The host Jonathan Alder Pioneers won the annual Ron Thomas Sr. wrestling invitational on Saturday.
JA took top honors with 180.5 points, followed by Dublin Jerome-174.5, Big Walnut-92, Fairbanks-90.5, Bishop Watterson-87.5, West Jefferson-67.5 and Kettering Alter-14.

Wednesday’s rain forced the postponement of Jonathan Alder’s tournament softball game against Columbus Independence. A number of workers, such as Jeff Simmons (above) tried to get the Alder diamond in shape for the contest, but the muddy conditions prohibited the game.
