Wildcats’ rally falls short against Elgin

North Union staged a late rally, but came up one run short as the Wildcats lost 8-7 in baseball action at Elgin.
Elgin led 5-1 after four innings and bumped the margin to 8-3 with one inning left to play.
The Wildcats (2-2) plated four runs in the seventh inning, but could not finish the comeback.
