Local man indicted for attacking child

A Middleburg man could be facing more than a decade and a half in prison after allegedly attacking his girlfriend’s 3-year-old son.

The Union County Grand Jury has indicted William Matthew Wedel, 29, of Middleburg, charging him with two counts of felonious assault.
