Lady Monarch runners compete against tough field during state cross country meet

A pair of Lady Monarchs represented their program during the final cross country meet of the 2024 season.

Seniors Bailey Gross and Maggie Foust were a part of the last race of the OHSAA state meet for Division I.

Foust finished in the top 50 by placing 36th with a time of 18:37.21.

Area first responders battled a house fire at 20255 Shirk Road on Wednesday and saved some pets in the process.
