Fairbanks Panthers were bright spot in otherwise difficult grid season for area high schools

It’s no secret that the 2024 high school football season wasn’t that great for Union County-area teams.

A rather weak 18-35 record was compiled among the five teams in the Journal-Tribune’s coverage area.

The one true bright spot,  however, belonged to Fairbanks.
