FHS senior will reunite with sister on collegiate softball diamond

The opportunity to play softball once again with her sister was too good to pass up for Fairbanks High School sister Jenna Dee.

With a few strokes of a pen earlier this week, Dee committed to playing the diamond sport at the University of Findlay.

Vehicles involved in an early morning crash that left one driver dead sit at the edges of Route 31 near Miller Road Saturday. The driver of the 2009 Honda Civic was pronounced dead at the scene after a 2023 Jeep Renegade crossed the centerline and hit the vehicle head-on, according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
