Fairbanks boys win hoop opener; Jonathan Alder girls fall by five

Fairbanks’ boys hoop squad tipped off the 2024-25 campaign with a 65-27 triumph over Greenon.

The Panthers climbed to a 22-9 lead by the end of the first quarter and were never threatened.

FHS’ advantage stood at  44-17 by halftime and stood at 59-20 as the fourth quarter got under way.
