Local sporting events rescheduled due to OSU-Texas CFP game

The Ohio State-Texas football game scheduled for Friday evening has prompted some changes in local high school sporting events.

The Cotton Bowl game in Texas will be a College Football Playoff semifinal between the Buckeyes and Longhorns.

Above is what remains of the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado that caught fire as a result of a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 33 Wednesday morning. The driver of the Chevrolet, Dejuan R. Meek, is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, but was not issued charges since he was quickly transported to a Columbus-area hospital with significant injuries. Units with the Marysville Fire Department assisted police officers with putting out the fire. (Photo submitted)
