In a mid-season matchup of division leaders, North Union and Indian Lake were each trying to get a leg up on the Central Buckeye Conference’s Mad River Division.

Alcohol believed to be a factor in fiery U.S. 33 crash

Above is what remains of the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado that caught fire as a result of a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 33 Wednesday morning. The driver of the Chevrolet, Dejuan R. Meek, is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, but was not issued charges since he was quickly transported to a Columbus-area hospital with significant injuries.
