Marysville hoopsters topple Thomas Worthington

Marysville’s boys varsity cagers went back over the .500 mark with a 67-57 victory at Thomas Worthington.

CJ Collins and Cole Brewer respectively tallied 19 and 18 points during the second half.

Their scoring led the Monarchs, who held a 26-24 halftime lead, to their 10th victory in 19 games.

Volleyball camp has Yuletide feel

Marysville High School’s youth volleyball camp had a “Christmas in July” theme on Tuesday. Lady Monarch instructors and campers came dressed in Christmas-type garb and continued instruction on volleyball skills while Christmas music was played in the background. The camp began on Monday and will run through Thursday with a different theme every day.
