Veterans back from Marysville baseball squad that finished as OCC divisional runner-up

There is a wealth of talent returning for a Marysville High School baseball team that finished as runner-up in the Cardinal Division of the Ohio Capital Conference in 2024.

The Monarchs turned in a 9-6 divisional record, behind last year’s champion, Olentangy Berlin.

Alcohol believed to be a factor in fiery U.S. 33 crash

Above is what remains of the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado that caught fire as a result of a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 33 Wednesday morning. The driver of the Chevrolet, Dejuan R. Meek, is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, but was not issued charges since he was quickly transported to a Columbus-area hospital with significant injuries.
