At the upcoming May 6 election voters within Marysville city limits will get to decide on two proposed amendments to the Marysville Charter. The charter allows citizens to shape their government, assigning responsibilities and addressing issues of local concern.

Volleyball camp has Yuletide feel

Marysville High School’s youth volleyball camp had a “Christmas in July” theme on Tuesday. Lady Monarch instructors and campers came dressed in Christmas-type garb and continued instruction on volleyball skills while Christmas music was played in the background. The camp began on Monday and will run through Thursday with a different theme every day.
