Monarchs host opening night of 2025 OCC Cardinal Division track and field competition

Marysville High School played host to the opening night of the Ohio Capital Conference Cardinal Division track and field meet on Wednesday.

Field event finals were held, along with prelims in several running events.

Wednesday’s rain forced the postponement of Jonathan Alder’s tournament softball game against Columbus Independence. A number of workers, such as Jeff Simmons (above) tried to get the Alder diamond in shape for the contest, but the muddy conditions prohibited the game.
