Grassroots project

Crews working on Fairbanks’ football field and track recently began installing sod onto the gridiron this past week. The new grass turf is to be completed prior to the start of the 2025 season while the new track surface will be completed prior to the 2026 spring season. The new field, once installed, will be capable of holding 60 events annually. Upgrades to the bleachers have already been made and are ADA accessible.
