Journal-Tribune reporter Kyle Meddles, pictured above, took on the Laser Shot shooting simulator hosted by the Union County Sheriff’s Office at the fairgrounds Wednesday afternoon and shared his experience participating in the simulated scenarios alongside Sheriff Mike Justice. The public is welcome to stop by the old Merchant’s building to participate until the fair ends. Children are welcome daily until 4 p.m. and adults can shoot from 4 to 8 p.m. (Photo submitted)
