Local athletic director not sure if (or when) girls flag football will grow in central Ohio area

The Ohio High School Athletic Association recently sanctioned a championship event for girls flag football, beginning in the spring of 2026.

There are currently 80 high schools in Ohio that have a team. That is four times the number of schools that fielded squads just three years ago.
