Lady Monarch golfers place seventh during W. Christian Invitational

Marysville’s girls golf squad placed seventh during the recent 14-team Worthington Christian Invitational.

The event was held at Mill Creek.

Columbus Academy won the invitational with a team score of 332.

Granville was the runner-up with 343.

One killed in Route 31 crash

Vehicles involved in an early morning crash that left one driver dead sit at the edges of Route 31 near Miller Road Saturday. The driver of the 2009 Honda Civic was pronounced dead at the scene after a 2023 Jeep Renegade crossed the centerline and hit the vehicle head-on, according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office.
