One killed in Route 31 crash

Vehicles involved in an early morning crash that left one driver dead sit at the edges of Route 31 near Miller Road Saturday. The driver of the 2009 Honda Civic was pronounced dead at the scene after a 2023 Jeep Renegade crossed the centerline and hit the vehicle head-on, according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office. The Jeep driver was taken by MedFlight to a Columbus-area trauma center. (Photos submitted)

One driver is dead after a two-vehicle crash in northern Union County over the weekend.

In the early hours of the morning Saturday, two vehicles traveling on Route 31 near Miller Road crashed in a head-on collision.
