Fairbanks runners place in meet

Fairbanks High School’s girls cross country team recently placed ninth out of 29 teams in the Spartan Invitational.

The event was held on the campus of Michigan State University.

Sadie Miller of FHS was the 12th individual to cross the finish line with a time of 20:36.7.

The father-son duo of Kevin and Berkley Behrens respectively placed first and second in their age brackets during the Ohio Fall Challenge triathlon at Deer Creek. Kevin Behrens (left) turned in a time of 1:22.46 and placed first in the 51-55 age group. He finished 26th overall.
