Triad avoids shutout with late-game touchdown against West Jefferson

Triad wide receiver Brendan Ankney stood downfield, facing the scoreboard. It was Military Appreciation Night and the camouflage-clad Cardinals were down 55-0 in the fourth quarter against the undefeated West Jefferson Roughriders.

Ankney was yards away from the nearest West Jeff defender.
