The bridge into Magnetic Springs from Route 37 is now open to traffic after construction ended last week. The 41-year-old bridge was closed to traffic on July 16, 2024 following an inspection by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), which revealed deteriorated components of the structure. Sewer project to begin soon; bridge reopens

The bids for the Magnetic Springs sanitary sewer project are set to open on Wednesday, which is the next step in getting construction started on the village’s wastewater system.

Bids for the project are slated to open to contractors at Wednesday’s meeting of the Union County Commissioners.
