County sees first snow of winter season

Union County residents saw the area’s first significant snowfall of the season Monday morning. Temperatures dipped below freezing Sunday evening and into the overnight, changing the rain to snow. Flakes fell long enough to cover the grass of the Union County Courthouse, shown above.
