Marysville, Fairbanks girls hoop squads open 2025-2026 season with victories; Lady Cardinals fall

Chris Freeman and his Marysville girls basketball team scored a blowout victory on Saturday evening.

It was the first game for Freeman as the head coach of the Lady Monarchs.

Marysville traveled to Marion County and rolled past the Vikings of River Valley by a 56-23 count.
