Shrine Club donates to Marysville Food Pantry

Even with the months-long government shutdown, many food pantries reported that they were in a good position heading into November with donations rising during the holiday season. On Thursday, the Union County Shrine Club donated $2,380 to the Marysville Food Pantry, 333 Ash St. Pictured above from left, back row, Bill Bumgarner, Dave Cook, LaRae Baker, Steve Baker and Steve Ingram. While the Shriners are more known for their children’s healthcare network, the group said they also wanted to help in their local community.
