Jonathan Alder’s girls wrestling team has new leadership.

The growth of girls wrestling has benefitted new head coach Joe Higgins and his team. The program boasts 21 athletes, improving the numbers from last season.

Alcohol believed to be a factor in fiery U.S. 33 crash

Above is what remains of the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado that caught fire as a result of a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 33 Wednesday morning. The driver of the Chevrolet, Dejuan R. Meek, is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, but was not issued charges since he was quickly transported to a Columbus-area hospital with significant injuries.
