Holiday variety

Students at Navin Elementary School filled the gymnasium Wednesday for an assembly showcasing Holidays Around the World. The students shown above are performing an Indian dance, likely inspired by Bollywood-style choreography. Bollywood dance blends traditional Indian dance movements with modern music and energy. The dancers use expressive hand gestures, coordinated arm movements, rhythmic footwork and facial expressions to tell a story and match the beat. The routine focuses on energy, expression and teamwork. Other performances brought traditions representing different countries such as Spain, Ireland and Germany.
