Learning the ropes at the rink

The iceless skating rink at Partners Park continues to get heavy use Christmas week as milder temperatures set in on the area. A few families, like the one pictured above Monday, took a while to get the hang of the bladed skates. The rink remains open tonight until 8 p.m. before closing for Christmas day. The rink reopens on Friday and will be available for skating from 2-8 p.m. through Jan. 4.
