First responders spread cheer
Union County first responders and their families took time out of their holiday schedules to share the Christmas spirit with children that are not able to leave Children’s Hospital in Columbus. On Tuesday evening, hundreds of fire and police personnel from around the state lined their flashing emergency vehicles outside Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House for the annual Operation Santa’s Sleigh event. Pictured at left are some of the Union County participants from Jerome Township Fire, Plain City Police, Marysville Police, Ohio State Patrol and the Union County Sheriff’s Office. Members of the Marysville Fire also took part but are not pictured.
