FHS hoopsters turn back KIPP; Raiders top Elgin

The Panthers of Fairbanks defeated KIPP Academy of Columbus 61-52 in non-conference boys basketball action on Tuesday.

FHS, which upped its overall record to 17-2, held a 15-11 lead after the first quarter and took a 34-24 margin at the halftime break.
