Walk-out doesn’t happen
There was an increased law enforcement presence but no student walk-out at Jonathan Alder High School Friday afternoon. District officials released a statement Thursday reminding students that demonstrations during the school day, on school property, are not allowed. The statement came after social media posts circulated earlier in the week promoting an anti-ICE protest for Friday.

Cruisers from local sheriff’s departments and the Ohio State Highway Patrol could be seen along U.S. 42 and on campus. District officials would not allow media on the property to cover the incident.
