100th birthday with Elvis

Local resident Margena Harriman, in the blue dress, celebrated her 100th birthday at Walnut Crossing on Monday afternoon. Born in 1926, Harriman became well-known around Marysville for serving customers coffee, food and drinks at McCarthy’s Pharmacy in town. In honor of her special day, Elvis Presley made an appearance and sang some of his greatest hits for the crowd.
