DAR announces contest winners

The Plain City chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, sponsored local high school seniors Camdyn Bartow of Fairbanks and Ella Luker of Jonathan Alder in the Good Citizens scholarship contest. Students are scored in the contest according to activities, offices, awards, community service and future plans along with an essay describing the characteristics of a good citizen. Pictured above from left, Regent Joy Ballard, Dale Bartow, Claudia Bartow, Camdyn Bartow, Ella Luker, Janelle Luker and Mark Luker. Camdyn Bartow was the chapter’s top winner and presented with a check. Both students received certificates, pins and graduation cords.
