Marysville’s Riley, Jon Alder’s Thomas capture district wrestling championships

A pair of freshmen brought home wrestling championships as area teams competed Saturday and Sunday in girls district tournament action at Big Walnut High School.

Avery Riley of Marysville earned the top spot in the 100-pound division and Jonathan Alder’s Reese Thomas led the 145-pound field.
